RAMON DO CASAR NOBRE 2019 WHITE | RIBEIRO

A varietal Treixadura, Ramón do Casar Nobre is produced from estate-owned vineyards located on the slopes of the Miño River, in an area near Ourense, within the DO Ribeiro.

Harvest was carried out by hand, and the grapes were selected both on site and in the facilities of the Ramón do Casar winery. The elaboration process of this Spanish white wine was directed by the prestigious winemaker Pablo Estévez.

Destemmed and gently crushed, the grapes were cold-macerated with the skins for some hours. The alcoholic fermentation of this Ribeiro white wine began in stainless steel tanks, and was completed in French oak barrels, where Ramón do Casar Nobre 2019 was also aged on its lees for about 3 months.

The quality of this Galician white wine has been internationally recognized.

Appearance
Clean and bright, the white wine Ramón do Casar Nobre has a lemony colour with some chartreuse-colored tinges.

Nose
As usual, this varietal Treixadura has a complex, fragrant, irresistible nose. Lime, lemon peel and apricots, with some buttery and spicy nuances, and an echo of flowers and herbs.

Palate
This white wine of Bodega Ramón do Casar is richly layered, ever-evolving and precise. White flowers and bone fruit, enlivened by a crisp acidity which leads to a rich, long finish. A lush, yet nimble Galician white wine.

Our personal opinion
We suggest pairing the delicious Ramón do Casar Nobre 2019 with a good cheese platter.
