A new exciting collection of wines from Bodegas Agustín Cubero. Easy to drink but also full of fruit and body to conquer all types of customers. Using the most commonly used red grapes in Spain, Castillo Del Mago is made from a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha, giving the cherry red hue.
Amazingly expressive, silky and full-bodied wine, thanks to the great quality of the grapes and a short ageing time in French oak barrels.
Bodegas Agustin Cubero is a winery with a strong family tradition. Founded in Gordojos, a small village near Calatayud in 1881. At that time, the infrastructure consisted of a group of cellars connected by underground passages. Wine producers lived and breathed their wines and wines were basically the centre of their lives.
The new Agustin Cubero winery has been located in Calatayud since 1997. It is managed by the fifth generation of the Cubero’s family today.
The aroma of Castillo Del Mago is fruity and fresh, prominently containing notes of red and black fruit with a hint of floral. When in the mouth, it is balanced with smooth tannins, a fruity finish that’s easy to drink.
